Artist Bio: Ann Hord-Heatherley is a figurative artist living on a small farm in the mountains of western North Carolina. Her work is influenced by vintage photos and memories of growing up in the rural south. Her pieces have a period feel. This is enhanced by her use of hand-dyed and vintage fabrics. The goal in her work is to express emotion in cloth. Ann is a member of the Southern Highlands Craft Guild, and the National Institute of American Doll Artists.
