Artist Name: Lissi Øland

Artist Bio: Øland Craft was started by Knud and Lissi Øland in 1974 and is located in Brasstown, NC. Knud was a self-taught turner and had a natural ability to see the beauty in the decaying wood. He passed away in 1991. Many of his creations could be seen at the Øland Craft Gallery. Lissi continued the turning business, and offered a variety of turnings in both size, shape and design in local woods but also a line of turning tools created by the Øland’s, as well as instruction in woodturning.

Usage/Care Notes: Do not place in direct sunlight. Please do not soak in water, wipe with a damp cloth and then rub with mineral oil, you can never give it too much mineral oil.
