Giclée self-portrait print from an original watercolor painting done by Jerry L. King, donated by Isabel King. This photo of Jerry was taken by a resident Folk School photographer in the late 80’s, captured at the porch of the Log Cabin Museum.

Artist Name: Jerry King

Artist Bio: Jerry King (1935-2023) was a self-taught artist, sculptor, banjo builder, organic farmer, and has won several awards for his watercolor paintings and woodcarvings. He lived in North Georgia with his wife and son in a passive solar house he built himself. Jerry is featured in Foxfire 10 and in Heart & Hands – Musical Instrument Makers of America. Jerry taught at the Folk School for over 20 years.
