Artist Name: Ty Thornock

Artist Bio: Ty Thornock has been carving greenwood for over a decade. He has taught a the Milan Village Art School and The Spoon Gathering in Minnesota as well as The Green Woodwright’s Festival in North Carolina. As a teacher by profession he is passionate about sharing knowledge. He has created many instructional PDF documents to aide both instructors and learners of greenwood crafts. Currently he runs a weekly after school carving club for middle school students. His work is in private collections throughout the world and has been on display in the Vesterheim museum.
