The idyllic Blue Ridge Mountain setting of the historic John C. Campbell Folk School is the perfect backdrop for celebrating the school’s culinary heritage. Nanette Davidson, who has taught culinary classes at the Folk School for over 20 years, has collected some of the most memorable recipes served family-style in the school’s Dining Hall. She also shares her knowledge of the time-honored tradition of putting up food through preserving and pickling.
