This book is dedicated to our power hammer teacher, Clifton Ralph. He worked most of his life with power hammers and realized that most of us did not know how to use them efficiently.  He worked to educate us by writing, demonstrating, and teaching.

This small book was compiled by Clay Spencer for the Alabama Forge Council, He made most of the tools shown during 2022 and 20203. Others were photos of Travis Fleming’s and Allan Kress’ tools.

This is part of the Alabama Forge Council’s mission to promote the art of blacksmithing. Clay has not received any compensation for this effort other than being listed as author/compiler and the joy of making the tools.
