Artist Name: Rae Bachus

Artist Bio: Rae Bachus has been carving for two years, has been a Brasstown Carver for one, and assists Helen Gibson in teaching classes at the Folk School. She took her first-ever carving class with Helen Gibson at Olives Porch in 2022, and a year later became a Brasstown Carver. Rae thanks the Folk School’s outreach classes and Helen Gibson, who is an incredible teacher, carver and friend, for her carving journey.

Usage/Care Notes: Dust occasionally. Keep dry, but wet should refinish. Keep out of direct sunlight.
