A friend of English Country Dance is generously offering to fund up to 15 scholarships at $200 each for young dancers or first-time dancers who would like to register for the Folk School’s upcoming Spring Dance Weekend April 26-28, 2024. 

 

Applicants must meet the follow criteria: 

• If you are over 25, this should be your first attendance of Spring Dance Weekend. 
• Or be 25 years old or younger attending Spring Dance Weekend. 
• Be committed to learning English Country Dance. 
• Registering for the event after March 22, 2024, and before April 24, 2024. 

 

Tuition cost is $256 for the weekend. Applicants are responsible for covering $56 of the tuition fee and arranging for their own travel, room, and board for the weekend. This offer does not apply if you’re already registered for Spring Dance Weekend.

Plus, discover inventive contemporary dances in an English style by choreographers from America, England, and greater Europe. Two master callers will guide the dancing to glorious live music by two excellent bands. Previous social dance experience is required. Tuition $256
